This check is for applicants who are invited to the interview stage. Use the instructions you receive from the team as the source of truth.

When this applies

Review this guidance after you receive an invitation to the interview stage.

Prepare your device

Use the equipment details in your invitation. Public device specifications are listed here only when they are approved for publication.

  • A computer and a working microphone are needed to deliver online lessons.
  • Zoom and Microsoft Teams are the initial lesson platforms. XD English's own calling app is introduced after contracting and onboarding when applicable.
  • A webcam is optional for the role. If a video demo is requested, the invitation explains the recording method.

Prepare your environment

Set up according to the instructions in your invitation before you begin the check.

  • Keep the interview instructions available while you prepare.
  • Follow any environment instructions provided by the team.
